I think political cartoons tend to have the maximum impact on people because art can explain things words cannot explain. However, it depends on the situation because sometimes, the cartoons can make things seem too lighthearted while they are extremely serious. Descriptions of the events matter and sometimes, media pieces tend to capture the true mood of a situation through words. Political cartoons are good in order to deal with sensitive issues as cartoons allow people to criticize or highlight certain points without making them too obvious or vivid while the words in a newspaper article can lead to many controversies.
